Home from a long day of work, Valentina takes off her cheerleader uniform. She misses the days of being an actual cheerleader for her high school football team. Things were so much easier then. She wonders what Brad is up to these days. All the girls on the squad wanted him but he was always so aloof. She could have sworn she saw him at the night club tonight. She screams, thrashing about, but the blood loss makes her feel weak and she slides down to the shower floor. Her killer slides his blade across her throat and vanishes.

Left to die on the shower floor, drenched in that color she loves so much. It’s the color of her uniform. If she wasn’t dying she might have laughed about cleaning the blood off her shaving cut. As she dies, her bladder releases, turning the blood a strangely beautiful orange color. That red is so beautiful. She missed being a cheerleader. She wonders what Brad is up to these days.
